Studio policies

  • You can easily amend or reschedule your class bookings through your account on the Momence app.

We kindly ask that any changes are made at least 12 hours before your class. Cancellations or reschedules within this 12-hour window will be treated as a late cancellation, meaning the class credit will unfortunately be lost. The same applies to no-shows.

We really appreciate your understanding, as this helps us keep classes running smoothly and allows other clients the chance to book in.

  • We’re so happy to support you through your pregnancy and postnatal journey 🤍. Our aim is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel confident and cared for in your movement.

To help us do that, we ask all clients who are pregnant or recently postnatal to please read and follow the guidance below.

    Medical Clearance
If you are pregnant, please ensure you have approval from your GP, midwife, or healthcare provider before attending classes.

    Letting Us Know
Please let your instructor know that you are pregnant before every class, regardless of how far along you are. This allows us to support you with appropriate modifications where possible.

    Choosing the Right Classes
Not all of our instructors are currently pre- and postnatal trained. We are actively working towards having our full team qualified, but in the meantime:

    • We recommend attending our specialised pre/postnatal classes where possible

    • Alternatively, please book with instructors who hold the appropriate qualifications: Madi, Sarah, or Amber

For your safety, our Power classes are not suitable during pregnancy and should be avoided.

    Moving Safely
Our instructors will guide you with pregnancy-safe options where appropriate. That said, every pregnancy is different, so it’s important that you:

    • Listen to your body

    • Work within your comfort level

    • Stop immediately if anything doesn’t feel right

    Exercise Adjustments
Some movements may be adapted or avoided during pregnancy to keep you safe and comfortable. These can include lying flat on your back after the first trimester, deep twists, strong abdominal work, or anything that feels unstable.

    Our Role
Our instructors are here to support you, but they are not medical professionals. Any guidance we provide is general and should not replace advice from your healthcare provider.

    Your Responsibility
By choosing to attend classes, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own wellbeing during exercise, including following medical advice and making choices that feel right for your body.

    Booking & Attendance
By booking into and attending classes at release, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.

    Postnatal Return
After birth, please wait until you have been medically cleared (usually after your 6–8 week check, or as advised) before returning to classes. We recommend easing back in gently and speaking to your instructor if you’re unsure where to start.

If you ever have questions or need support, please don’t hesitate to reach out - we’re here for you every step of the way.
